We are all skateboard addicts at Surfdome and have found some great places to ride the electric skateboards. One of the best is on the MOD land in Ash Ranges (near Aldershot). It's a firing range so you can only go there when the red flags aren't flying. There is a smooth tarmac road running through the ranges that's perfect for the electric skateboards.
Another place to ride the electric skateboards is the Eelmoor driving track near the Rushmoor Arena in Aldershot. This isn't as good as Ash Ranges for riding the electric skateboards but is still pretty cool if you get a bunch of you together. Obviously if you're riding the offroader you can skateboard pretty much anywhere.
Below are some images of the electric skateboards. They all come with a wireless remote control which is awesome. In the past we have tested some of the wired electric skateboards - they have a hand held trigger that has a cable running down to the electric skateboard. The problem we found with them is that if you wipe out the cable gets ripped out of the trigger. When this happens a few times the contact gets a bit sloppy. Anyway wireless is way cooler we reckon.
